Skinny Pete’s was born from a passion for bartending, fueled by a love for bourbon and an obsession with perfecting the Old Fashioned cocktail. In 2022, Bryan Mead, a local bartender with over 22 years of experience in Idaho, became determined to take this classic drink to the next level. Bryan dove into experimenting with different spices, bitters, and aging methods to craft what he believed was the ultimate Old Fashioned. After countless trials and customer requests, one recipe emerged as the clear winner, quickly becoming a favorite among the customers who couldn't get enough: an Old-Fashioned mix with a low-calorie, low-sugar simple syrup. As word spread, people began asking how they could bring that same experience home. That’s when Bryan realized his mission was to make craft-quality cocktails accessible anywhere, with the added bonus of a healthier option that doesn't compromise on taste.
